Which pets are allowed?

Our pre-approved pet list includes dogs and cats. If your pet isn't listed, contact the hotel before booking so we can confirm approval. Pets weigh up to 30kg to keep the stay comfortable for all guests.

Can I bring my dog to Pullman East Melbourne?
Yes. Dogs are welcome in the Paws, Pack & Stay pet suites. Book direct by phone and mention your pet's breed and size so we can approve the stay.

Are cats allowed?
Yes, cats are on our pre-approved pet list.

How many pets can stay in one suite?
The package includes one pet. We can accept two pets per suite, but this must be confirmed with the hotel before arrival.

Is there a weight limit?
Yes. Pets must be no larger than 30kg.

Is there a pet cleaning fee?
No standard cleaning fee applies. Additional cleaning or replacement fees apply for damage or soiling.

Can my pet go to the restaurant or bar?
No. Pets are not permitted in food service areas, in line with government regulations. You can enjoy food and drinks with your pet in your suite or courtyard, or in areas outside food service.

Can I leave my pet alone in the room?
No. Pets must not be left unattended in rooms or vehicles. Please take regular bathroom breaks.

What are the rules in public areas?
Pets must be on a leash or in a crate or carry bag in all public areas. Leashes are available on loan.

Are any dog breeds restricted?
Yes. Under the Domestic Animals Act 1994 (Vic), restricted breeds must meet strict legal requirements. See the list below.

Terms & conditions

Valid only for approved pets (dogs and cats); not valid for other animals.
Bookings must be made direct through hotel reservations so the correct suite can be allocated.
Pets must be house-trained and well-behaved. Disturbances to other guests result in a warning. Continued disturbance results in cancellation without refund.
Pets must be leashed, crated or in a carry bag in all public areas.
Pets are not permitted in food service areas.
Pets must not be left unattended in rooms or vehicles.
Damage or soiling will incur additional cleaning or replacement fees.
All guests must comply with Victorian law.

Victorian law places strict requirements on owners of declared dangerous dogs, declared menacing dogs and restricted breed dogs, with penalties for non-compliance. Restricted breeds are:

Japanese Tosa
Fila Brasileiro
